Relaxed in the sun

Anyone that knows me well enough, is completely aware that I am a Free People junkie. Now I definitely don't have the budget to afford their $200 dresses, etc. on a regular basis. That kind of splurging only happens on special occasions (yeah right), so I make do with what I can get my hands on. Many people are unaware of the money they can earn reselling brands like Free People on eBay and Poshmark, so they drop them off at consignment for fast cash. There are plenty of consignment stores that don't realize exactly what Free People is, so they resell the items they receive at a surprisingly low price. I found this dress on a Plato's Closet rack for $14 (originally $268), now that my friends is a steal. I recommend finding consignment stores in wealthier neighborhoods or college towns. Most of the time these folks are trying to get rid of nice items they're bored with, giving us new goodies!

I have to say this dress is such a staple. I would have paid more for it. It's important to splurge on pieces that will save you time getting dressed as they are beautiful by themselves, but it's more satisfying when you find them cheap. I can't wait to wear this little number in 80 degree weather with sandals and messy hair. I might never take it off.

Note: Most of the items I'm wearing are sold out or no longer available. My shopping links consist of similar items.
