Tropical Packing Guide
My family has decided to trade out Christmas gift giving this year for a tropical vacation to the Dominican Republic! And I am not complaining! I couldn't even tell you the last time I visited a tropical place. LA is kinda tropical... but not really, because the water is ice cold and it's very city-like here.
I know a lot of people struggle with packing - over packing and under packing. Over the years, I've improved drastically. One time Lyuda and I went on a beach vacation and we brought an entire duffel of shoes... I'm not kidding!!! My dad was pissed to say the least.
I feel I know my style best now and what I will wear the most. This packing list is pretty representative of what's in my suitcase right now.
I'll share my exact outfits in a trip recap coming after Xmas! :)

My go-to blogger for packing inspo is A Pair & A Spare. One of her secrets for resort is to pack swimwear that doubles as clothing! AKA... Bold one pieces to tuck under shorts and dimensional bikini tops to poke out of revealing dresses. I am a swimwear junkie, so I will definitely be taking advantage of this!!
I love packing dresses and rompers because they are adaptable and don't take up too much space. I like to have a mix of patterns and solids - this way I can switch them up for different occasions.
I live by my One Teaspoon shorts!! Can't image warm weather without them. I get the most wear out of the medium denim and black pair. Bell bottoms are my favorite jean silhouette. They are super cute with tank tops - perfect for the beach!
A good mix of neutrals in a variety of silhouettes! Definitely include a graphic tee in there, it's such an easy staple.
